The Shoemakersville Swimming Pool opened in 1968. Operations were taken over by the Borough in 2001. The pool is typically open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Applications for employment are accepted starting February 1. Season passes are available for sale in mid-late April. Information about the pool can also be found on Facebook. Shoey Pool will be open for the 2026 season from May 23 through September 7.
